NEW ENGLAND HUNTING BEAGLE ASSOCIATION

The New England Hunting Beagle Association was founded to organize existing A.K.C. Beagle Clubs so that all member clubs may share in the benefits which may arise as a result of their support, and, to promote and develop the sport of Beagle field trials as written in the Running Rules and General Procedures as adopted by the American Kennel Club and this Association.

The Treasurer reported a 2009 Ending balance comparable to that of 2008.

The Field Trial Sect. presented the following data for 2008, 2009 entries.
...2009 - 167 All Age, 37 Qualified (7 trials) - 116 Derbies, 24 Qualified (7 trials)
...2008 - 131 All Age, 37 Qualified (8 trials) - 87 Derbies, 30 Qualified (7 trials)
...The trend looks promising.
...Fourteen(14) beaglers attended the Advanced judging seminar at Eastern

Correspondence Report
...Web Site reported an average of 40 visitors per day with a high of 91. However

Report- Committees
...Hall of Fame
... Cape Cod submitted documentation, as requested at the 1/18 /09 meeting, to induct a member into the NEHBA Hall of Fame. Since procedures were never available for use, the issue was tabled until the 2010 semi annual meeting. The Procedures will be reviewed and distributed to delegates by 1 Feb. 2010. Cape Cod Inductee will be resubmitted at the semi annual meeting.
Comparative documentation for existing HOF members, or the procedures, were not available.
The HOF Committee now consists of: Doug Bower - Chairman, Tippy Willis III, Jason Wiseman, Larry Mazza and existing members of the Hall of Fame.
