Hall of Fame Criteria

ARTICLE 1.

Section a) The following form is to be used as a guide to determine the eligibility for nomination of a person being considered to enter the New England Hunting Beagle Association Hall of Fame. A 110 point minimum will be considered based on criteria listed below. Said nominee must have been, or be a member in good standings of the NEHBA, NEBGF and AKC. Said nominee must have participated in local beagle field trials and events.

Section b) Signed credentials by the president and / or officer of said nominating club along with a letter of reason stating why they should be inducted shall be submitted at the annual or semi annual meeting of the NEHBA. The nominee shall then be presented by each delegate to their prospective club for approval. Twelve (12) copies for distribution to each club will be required at the meeting.

Section c) At the following annual NEHBA meeting prospective Hall of Fame nominees will be voted on by paper ballot and must be accepted by a 2/3 majority vote of the officers, delegates, and living HOF members present.

Section d) Only 2 nominees per club per year can be presented and 2 HOF members will be inducted yearly.

IF A PERSON MEETS THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT OF A CATEGORY LISTED THEN HE / SHE WILL BE AWARDED THESE POINTS.

A) Member of NEHBA Club. (mandatory requirement)                          5 points

B) Served as an NEHBA officer  --------------------------------------------------20 points

C) Served as an NEHBA Delegate                                                           5 points

D) Served as a judge for 15 or more years------------------------------------ 35 points

E) Served as ajudge for 10 or more years                                              25 points

F) Served as a judge for 5 or more years--------------------------------------  20 points

G) Served as a club officer                                                                       10 points

H) Won an NEHBA Consistency award   ---------------------------------------  15 points

I) Have Finished 10 AKC Field Champions                                              50 points

J) Have Finished  5 AKC Field Champions ------------------------------------- 25 points

K) Have finished an AKC Field Champion                                                15 points

L) Have judged for an NEHBA club in a field event----------------------------  5 points

M) Have judged for an NEHBA club in a Show event                                 5 points

N) Have bred 10 or more AKC Field Champions   ----------------------------- 30 points

O) Have bred 5 or more AKC Field Champions                                         20 points

P) Have bred an AKC Field or Show Champions  ------------------------------  5 points

Q) Have finished 5 or more AKC Show Champions                                  25 points

R) Have finished an AKC show Champion----------------------------------------   5 points

S) Have bred 10 or more AKC show Champions                                       25 points

T) Have bred 5 or more AKC show Champions---------------------------------  20 points

U) Served the NEHBA as a delegate to the NEBGF                                   10 points

V) Served the NEHBA as a BAC delegate-----------------------------------------  20 points

W) Served as a representative on the AKC National Committee               5 points

X) Have owned a placing hound at the AKC National SPO TRIAL---------- 5 points
